Reflection - Section 8 - Common Mistakes in Writing - Nov. 13

    The resource on common writing mistakes was very helpful for me. I spotted a couple habits that I do which are incorrect. This resource assisted me in correcting my mistakes and using the correct grammar, mechanics, and punctuation.

    Today's in in class activities were quite fun. The topics really helped everyone in class participate and share quite a few good laughs. :)

      I concur with your last statement Kris, I just loved how charismatic the class was today! I only hope we continue to maintain this positive attitude, in and out of the classroom. :D

      No worries, we all make mistakes and have habits that can be incorrect at times. But the good thing is that we got see the paper and give us a few examples about this little mistakes we make. :)

    For the test, i did well. I got a passing, which is good. I had troubles with the step and process for writing an essay but my essay was fine. For the common mistakes, I barely make some.

    For today's activity, it was good. The classification was really great. We did some exercises and everyone participated.

    I found the resource on the correction of the common mistakes often found in grammar, mechanics, and punctuation to be extremely helpful as it helped me gain a better understanding on how to use certain words and symbols. Often times, I would trip out on using words such as college-student or symbols that involve using the hyphen as I would get confused. However, I am happy to say that I now understand its use along with purpose.

    I really enjoyed today's class activities! It has certainly been a while to see a full class, most especially one that was active in participation and well, alive. I am glad to see that everyone had that burning desire to share their thoughts. Through our class exercises, I have gained a better understanding of classification, along with the purpose it serves in writing and constructing outlines. What really captured my attention was when Dr. Rivera relayed the news to use about switching up our method of test-taking yet again! I am sure that by doing a take-home test, our scores will definitely increase.

    Let's continue to do our best you guys! :D

    While I read through the common writing mistakes, I find it very helpful because I still make these common mistakes A LOT! It was a bit of a mind refresher and I am actually glad I was able to read these steps in writing because it made me realize the mistakes I made and now i could correct them. In today's lesson I enjoyed the class meeting because the activity because it gave us some laughs and giggles.

    After reading through the pages i found it very useful in showing common mistakes in grammar, mechanics, and punctuation. I realized that also make quite a few or actually a lot more mistakes too. It is good cause it showed me so i can try i learn from it.

    As for today's activity in class, it was a another great learning experience to be in class and communicate with one another. We had touched on the topic of classification today and it went real well.
